Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has approved a sum of Rs 60 crore for modernisation of government polytechnics in the state.
The money has been approved for all government polytechnics, women’s polytechnic and new polytechnics.
A proposal in this regard was given by Higher and Technical Education Department. The money will be used for modernisation, strengthening and paying the wages for the employees kept on contractual work. The funds have been sanctioned for the year 2021-22.
