Chatra : The CBI team has taken two major actions against corruption in the Amrapali project within 15 days. CBI has arrested Amrapali Coal Project dispatch officer Sudhanshu Sharma on Wednesday after arresting civil department supervisor Rambhajju and his associate Ashok Ram for taking bribes.
CBI’s ACB Ranchi team has taken this action. After the arrest, the CBI team has taken the dispatch officer with itself to Ranchi. It is being said that a bribe was demanded from the coal businessman in the name of dispatching coal in the project area.
After which a complaint was made to the ACB branch of CBI regarding this. It is reported that a huge amount of money has been recovered from Sudhanshu Sharma. Earlier, on March 19, the CBI team had taken action in CCL’s Amrapali Coal Project operated in Tandwa block of Chatra.
The team had arrested civil supervisor Rambhajju Kumar and his associate Ashok Ram, posted in the project office of Amrapali, red-handed while accepting a bribe of twenty-five thousand rupees.
