Cabinet approved to provide 125 units of free electricity per month to domestic consumers of Jharkhand Electricity Distribution Corporation Limited instead of 100 units

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren conducted a cabinet meeting at Project Building in Ranchi on Friday. Cabinet approves various proposals, which are as follows.

According to the engineering courses being conducted in the Government Engineering College, Palamu in the state, in the light of the criteria of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), approval was given for the creation of new posts for teachers and non-teaching staff as per requirement.

Approval was given for the approval of the International University Bill, 2024.

Approval was given to provide 125 units of free electricity per month instead of 100 units to the domestic consumers of Jharkhand Electricity Distribution Corporation Limited.

Approval was given for the creation of posts of judicial officers for Bagodar-Saria Sub-Divisional Court under Giridih district.

Approval was given for creation of the post of Principal Magistrate, Additional Juvenile Justice Board, East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur)-II in Civil Judge (Junior Division) cadre.

Approval was given for creation of posts of judicial officers for Chakradharpur Sub-Divisional Court under West Singhbhum district in Chaibasa Judicial Division. Management Administrative approval was given for the scheme worth only Rs 7382.60 lakh for implementation on the basis of Public Private Partnership Mode.

The benefit of pension and family pension in the seventh revised pay scale under 7th CPC to teachers and officials appointed, who have retired only against the sanctioned posts including finance, of the deficit-funded minority colleges under the state universities, Approval was given.

To extend the period of the agreement signed with BIT Mesra in the year 2017 from the year 2018-19 to 2024-25 and to provide the amount of phase wise grant-in-aid to BIT Mesra under the terms of the said agreement.
