Budget Session: Svamitva Yojana has been stopped in Jharkhand says CM

Ranchi: Centre run Svamitva Yojana has been stopped by the Government of Jharkhand for the time being. During the ongoing Budget Session Chief Minister Hemant Soren gave information in this regard. He said that in rural areas of Khunti district under this digital survey of property and land was being done through drones which was objected by the villagers. MLA Binod Kumar Singh had raised the issue.

Earlier, MLA Naveen Jaiswal said in the house that about 10 thousand applications are pending in Ranchi itself. 68 thousand applications for rejection are pending in the entire state. He alleged that the zonal officers keep the applications pending waiting for the money. MLA CP Singh said that his land application is also pending.

Alleging irregularities in Tenughat Thermal Power Station, AJSU MLA Lambodar Mahto demanded an investigation by the Anti-Corruption Bureau. He raised this matter in Zero Hour and also brought an adjournment motion. The MLA said that even after 25 years the Tenughat Thermal Power Station has not been expanded to Phase II. Due to this, the government is incurring a net loss of about Rs 30 crores per month. He said that despite the regulation of the posture, gratuity was not paid to the dependents of the deceased. In the year 2017, 102 people were appointed, in which huge irregularities were committed. The data relating to appointments was also destroyed.
