Black marketing of Tatkal ticket reservation in Jamtara, RPF Crime Branch caught a railway employee seized 8 tickets

Jamtara: Despite maintaining transparency in reservation tickets in Railways, passengers still face difficulties in getting timely reservations. Even today, people have to stand in queues months in advance to confirm reservations. Even then many times people get only waiting tickets.

Amidst all the problems, black marketing of Tatkal ticket reservations continues. This came to light in Jamtara when a railway worker was caught. 

The team of RPF Crime Branch has arrested a railway employee for black marketing of railway Tatkal tickets at Kumardhubi railway station under the Asansol Railway Division of Eastern Railway.

The team of RPF Crime Branch was receiving information for several days that black marketing of tickets was taking place at the reservation counter of Kumardubi Railway Station.

On the instructions of RPF Senior Security Commissioner Rahul Raj, the team of Assistant Sub Inspector S Rai, CIB Constable D Tiwari Barakar, Inspector Incharge PK Shah raided the reservation counter of Kumardubi Railway Station and arrested a railway employee.

The name of the railway worker is Mushtaq Ansari. During the search, 8 sleeper class tickets were found. Whose price is said to be Rs 7760. The ticket was from Barakar to Mumbai. In which people were going to travel from Parasnath. Rs 5080 cash has also been recovered from him. The arrested accused has been handed over to the RPF of Barakar station.
