Increase in corruption cases in Jharkhand, 6 cases registered every month

Ranchi: There has been an increase in corruption cases in Jharkhand. Six cases related to corruption are being registered here every month. 

According to the NCRB report, 63 cases related to corruption have been registered in the year 2020, 56 in 2021 and 67 in 2022. In this way, corruption cases have increased in the year 2022 as compared to 2020 and 2021. 

At the same time, 51 people have also been arrested in corruption cases in 2022. Whereas charge sheet has been filed against 44 accused. There are 260 corruption cases pending in Jharkhand.

Apart from this, the investigating agency has submitted final reports in two corruption cases. Charge sheets have been filed in 72 cases. Also, trials are going on in 596 corruption cases in Jharkhand.
