Ranchi: Bringing good news for unemployed youths in Jharkhand, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released an official notification for recruitment to 611 posts across various government departments. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the commission’s official website.
The recruitment announcement has generated considerable excitement among job aspirants across the state. Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made for several technical and administrative positions, including Assistant Agriculture Engineer, Block Agriculture Officer, Statistical Assistant, Plant Protection Inspector, and Research Assistant. The number of vacancies and eligibility criteria vary according to the respective departments.
Eligibility and Age Limit
Candidates applying for these posts must possess a bachelor’s degree or the required educational qualification in the relevant subject.
As per the notification, the maximum age limit for General, EWS, and economically weaker section male candidates has been fixed at 35 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
Application Fee
- General, OBC, and EWS candidates: Rs 100
- SC and ST candidates of Jharkhand: Rs 50
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a three-stage process comprising the Preliminary Examination (Prelims), Main Examination (Mains), and Document Verification.
The commission has advised candidates to complete the application process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. The last date for payment of the application fee has been fixed as July 3.
