Ranchi: The result of the election for the executive committee of Ranchi District Bar Association for the biennial 2024-26 has arrived. 9 members of the Executive Committee have been elected. There were 41 candidates in the fray.
A total of 1863 votes were cast in the elections held on January 20. Of the elected members, six have been elected from the old committee itself. In this, Bablu Kumar Singh, Birendra Pratap, Shankar Kumar Sharma, Ram Krishna Bhagat, Aseem Kachhap and Sosan Nag were in the previous committee. There are three new faces.
Election committee members Ajay Kumar Tiwari, Yogendra Narayan Singh and Amarendra Kumar Jha and other members played a role in the counting of votes. Bar Association President SP Aggarwal and General Secretary Sanjay Kumar Vidrohi have congratulated all the newly elected executive members.
