Hearing was conducted by the bench of Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia. After hearing both the sides, the court has fixed December 2 for hearing on the bail petition. The last hearing on Pooja Singhal’s bail plea in the Supreme Court was held on September 25. Then during the hearing, ED had opposed the bail.

The court was told that there were serious allegations against Pooja Singhal. There is enough evidence against him also. She can influence this matter after coming out of jail. On behalf of Pooja Singhal it was said that charge sheet has been filed in the case.

In the last hearing itself, suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal told the court that she has fully cooperated in whatever investigation has been conducted by the ED so far. She said that she will cooperate whenever needed in future. She has been in jail since May 11, 2022. Her health is also not good. In such a situation, she should get bail. After this, the court gave a date for detailed hearing on the petition.
