Apollo Hospital will be built on 2.75 acres of land in the ADB area of Ranchi Smart City. A part of plot number 44 of ADB area has been allotted for the hospital. About Rs 12 crore has been given to Smart City by Ranchi Municipal Corporation for the hospital land.

The design for the construction of the hospital is ready, just after getting the map passed, Apollo Hospital Enterprises Limited will soon start work on the plot.

Earlier Apollo Hospital was to be built in Ghaghra, Doranda.

This proposal was passed by the Municipal Corporation Board in 2012 itself.

Ranchi Municipal Corporation had provided Doranda land to Apollo Management, but the project got stuck due to the opposition of 3 Ryots there.

After this, a plan was made to provide land in the smart city area. In February 2023, in-principle approval was also received from Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

After this, the Urban Development Department wrote a letter to the CEO of Smart City to provide land.

Acting swiftly, Apollo was provided land in the ADB area.
