Mumbai — After establishing herself as one of Bollywood’s leading stars, Alia Bhatt continues to expand her global presence. In a significant milestone, she has been named among the presenters for the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards, sharing the stage with prominent international names such as Cillian Murphy, Kate Hudson, and Sadie Sink.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts recently unveiled its star-studded lineup of presenters for the ceremony, scheduled to take place on February 22, 2026.
The presenters’ list features celebrated personalities including Aimee Lou Wood, Bryan Cranston, David Jonsson, Delroy Lindo, Gillian Anderson, Glenn Close, Olivia Cooke, and Patrick Dempsey.
Additional presenters include Aaron Pierre, Alicia Vikander, Erin Doherty, Hannah Waddingham, Kathryn Hahn, Kerry Washington, Little Simz, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Milly Alcock, Minnie Driver, Noah Jupe, Regé-Jean Page, Riz Ahmed, Stormzy, and Warwick Davis.
Several nominees will also take on presenting duties during the ceremony, including Ethan Hawke, Michael B. Jordan, Miles Caton, Emily Watson, and Stellan Skarsgård.
Before Bhatt, Indian actors Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Deepika Padukone had the honor of presenting at the BAFTAs in 2021 and 2024, respectively.
Prior to her BAFTA appearance, Bhatt garnered international attention for her standout looks at the Cannes Film Festival and the Met Gala.
On the professional front, she is currently filming Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The project reunites her with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and her ‘Raazi’ co-star Vicky Kaushal. Kapoor recently revealed during an Instagram Live session that the film, initially slated for release this year, may face delays.
In addition, Bhatt is set to enter the YRF Spy Universe with the film Alpha. The project also stars Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, and is being directed by Shiv Rawail.
