Mumbai — Actress Adah Sharma has revealed that she suffered a serious nose injury while shooting for her upcoming action thriller.
The ‘Kerala Story’ star shared that the injury occurred during an intense action sequence on set, reflecting the physically demanding nature of her role. A source close to the production disclosed that Adah broke her nose during rigorous nunchuck training for the high-octane film. The incident reportedly happened during a late-night stunt rehearsal.
The source added that audiences will see Adah performing action sequences like never before in this project. After raising the bar with her stunts in Commando 2 and Commando 3, this film is set to push her action persona to new heights.
Speaking about the injury, Adah said, “Pain is temporary, cinema is forever. Now, I really look like an action heroine. The night I got hurt, I was scheduled to shoot for a romantic-themed music video the next day, so between the romantic scenes, I sat with an ice pack to reduce the swelling, and we used plenty of makeup to cover it.”
While details of Adah’s new action thriller are still under wraps, the Bastar: The Naxal Story actress is also set to portray the role of a Devi in an upcoming trilingual film directed by BM Giriraj. In addition, she has Reeta Sanyal Season 2 in the pipeline. Reports also suggest that Adah has signed a major horror film in which she plays the lead.
The 33-year-old actress, known for her commitment to her craft, previously spoke about her approach to her roles, saying, “I feel fortunate to get such diverse characters and work with such talented filmmakers. Whether it’s real-life stories like The Kerala Story or fictional characters like Reeta Sanyal, I strive to make them as authentic as possible. I’m grateful that creative directors are trusting me with such unique roles.”
