Ranchi: Film actress Ameesha has agreed to pay the outstanding amount in the check bounce case on Wednesday. On the basis of mutual agreement, he has offered to give Rs 2 crore seventy-five lakh to the applicant Ajay Singh. After which the court has directed him to appear before the court on Thursday.
In the last hearing, the court had directed her to appear, but citing personal reasons, she did not appear even on Wednesday. The court of JMFC (Judicial Magistrate First Class) Digvijay Nath Shukla of Ranchi Civil Court is hearing this case. Check bounce case is going on against Ameesha Patel. This matter is of the year 2017.
According to the allegations, in the name of making the film Desi Magic, Ajay Singh transferred Rs 2.5 crore to the account of Ameesha Patel. Ajay Kumar Singh is the proprietor of Lovely World Entertainment. After not making the film and not getting the money back, Ajay Kumar Singh has filed a fraud case against Ameesha Patel.
In this case, Ameesha Patel had surrendered in Ranchi Civil Court on 17 June 2023.
