Ranchi: Around 82.63 % of Children are getting the benefits of safe and pure drinking water by the efforts of the Jharkhand Government, data released by the Water Resources department.
22 Lakh Households are assured to get safe and pure drinking water. Residents of Rural and Urban Areas of Jharkhand getting drinking water through water pipeline connectivity. As per the Functional Household Water Tab connection Yojna (FHTC) launched on June 14, 2023, 6 Lakh 12 Thousand households are getting safe and pure drinking water.
29,000 villages are connected under the FHTC Yojna of the State Government. 1974 villages are now connected with 100 % Water Pipeline Connectivity.2447 villages have been connected with 90% FHTC Connectivity. 1505 villages are also connected with 80% water connectivity.
And 8490 villages have been connected with 50 % water pipeline connectivity.37 Panchayats have been connected with 100 % Water Connectivity. Total of 41,408 Schools in the state are connected with Water Pipeline Connectivity. And in 38,432 Anganwadi Centers are now getting facilities of Drinking Water Connectivity
