Ranchi: Five Naxalites, including TPC Sub Zonal Commander Adesh Ganjhu alias Prabhakar, who has become synonymous with terror among coal traders and contractors, have been arrested.
Acting on the instructions of district SP Rakesh Ranjan, the police team arrested Naxalites named Sub Zonal Commander Adesh Ganjhu, Pintu Kumar Ganjhu, Laldev Kumar Ganjhu and Rajesh Ganjhu.
All these Naxalites have been arrested from Tandwa police station area.
One rifle, two pistols, eight live cartridges, six mobile phones and many other items have been recovered from them.
SP Rakesh Ranjan gave this information while addressing the press conference on Sunday.
All the arrested extremists were synonymous with terror among coal businessmen and contractors.
All of them were involved in the incident of setting fire to the Poklane machine installed in the Phulwariya Railway Bridge Construction Company of Tandwa police station area by the militants.
He was also involved in the incident of setting a water tanker on fire and assaulting the employees at the site of Anand & Sira Construction Company.
