Ranchi: Barracks with 450 beds will be constructed in Chaibasa and Dumka police lines.
In this regard, the Home Jail and Disaster Management Department has approved the amount.
Approval has been given for construction of 225 beds in Chaibasa Police Line worth Rs. 5.75 crores and construction of women barracks worth Rs. 5.25 crores in Dumka Police Line.
It will be constructed by Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation.
In the barrack construction work in the police lines of both the districts, building work, water supply, septic tank, deep boring, electrical work, approach road, rain water harvesting and other works will also be done.
