Ranchi: A special one-day session of the Jharkhand Assembly will be held on Wednesday in which a proposal over Sarna religious code would be passed and sent to the Centre.
The Vidhan Sabha secretariat has made elaborate arrangements in wake of the Covid-19 guidelines as per which those MLAs who have tested negative for Coronavirus will be allowed to participate in the proceedings of the house.
On behalf of the Secretariat arrangements of thermal scanners, masks, gloves and sanitizers have been also made at the entry points of the Vidhan Sabha.
Since the results for the bypolls of Dumka and Bermo have been declared on Tuesday it is also expected that the newly elected MLAs Basant Soren of JMM and Jaimangal Singh of the Congress will also be administered oath as the members of the house.
