Neera Yadav says govt committed to provide quality education to students

Ranchi, Jul 7: Jharkhand’s HRD Minister Neera Yadav said that the
state government was committe to provide quality education to the
students of the state as part of which various initiatives have been
taken.
Addressing a press conference at the Suchana Bhawan here she said that
apart from focussing on the appointment of teachers, bus facilities
for girl students is being provided alongwith that steps have been
taken to improve the libraries and the laboratories. She said that it
was a priority for the state government to ensure that every child
reaches the school for which various schemes have been launched by the
state government.


She said that under the Chief Minister’s fellowship scheme a sum of Rs
1 lakh is being provided to the students for higher education or for
studying abroad. She said that for the girls who reside in far off
areas and face trouble commuting to college for them college bus
service has been launched. Ms Yadav said that the department was
working to provide a corruption free education as part of which the
money which is given by the department to the students is now paid
through DBT and added that in the last two years bank accounts of 95
pc students in high school and 80  pc students studying in  middle
schools has been done.
