Ranchi, August 30: Former Bihar chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav surrendered in special CBI court SS Prasad on Thursday.
“ Lalu Yadav surrendered in the special CBI court. The court asked first to send him in Birsa Munda central jail. From jail he could be shifted to Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) for treatment.
The Jharkhand High Court on September 24 had directed him to surrender by August 30. Lalu Prasad was on provisional since May 11.
