No talks about formation of ‘Third’ or ‘Fourth Front’ : K Chandrashekhar Rao

Ranchi: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday said that it was too premature to talk about the formation of an Anti- BJP or Third or Fourth Front in the country.

In an interaction with the press following the end of his meeting with Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren here he said that the Jharkhand government under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren was performing in a
better manner.

He said during the separate Telangana statehood movement that started in 2001 Shibu Soren was invited as a chief guest and Shibu Soren had extended his full support to the movement. He said that he also wanted to meet Shibu Soren and seek his blessings.

He said that in the meeting between the two Chief Ministers political talks have been also held. He said that the nation has completed 75 years of Independence but it has not achieved the development that it was expected to achieve. K Chandrashekhar Rao said that India has fallen behind China in development and some of the other Asian countries.

The Telangana Chief Minister said that the present government in the country is also not working properly. He said that soon all the leaders will get together at a commonplace and decide the agenda to move forward. He said that the leaders are very clear the steps needed to be taken to take India in a new direction.

When asked as to whether he was trying to stitch up a Third Front in the country he said that at present there are no talks of having a third or fourth front and it is a matter which will be decided in the future. However, he said that there is a need for something new to take India forward on the path of development. He said that leaders will sit together and will decide what needed to be done after which everyone will be informed.

During his visit to Jharkhand, he was also accompanied by his MLC Daughter K Kavitha. K Chandrashekhar Rao also gave away cheques worth Rs 10 lakh each to the kin of two martyrs of Galwan hailing from Jharkhand. He also paid his visit to JMM supremo Shibu Soren.
