Ranchi: A young man exploded a bomb in a brawl after drinking alcohol in Chudi Gali located in Sukhdev Nagar police station area. Another youth was injured in this incident.
It is said that late on Saturday night, some youths started creating ruckus while returning home after drinking alcohol like every day.
Yesterday some youths of two families returned home after drinking alcohol.
The guardians of both the families started scolding the youths who had returned home, but the matter increased so much that some people of both the families clashed with each other.
Meanwhile, a young man named Bittu got angry and threw the bomb made in a flower box on the ground.
There was an explosion when the bomb exploded.
A young man named Rohit Tirkey was injured in the blast.
On the information of the bomb blast, the police of Sukhdev Nagar police station reached Chudi Gali. Immediately the injured youth was taken to the hospital.
Injured Rohit has got splinters of the bomb on his arm and chest, due to which his skin at both the places is burnt.
He is being treated at RIMS.
Accused Bittu absconded after the incident, the police are looking for him.
