Workshop organized by Personnel Department in collaboration with Capacity Building Commission at Project Bhavan

Ranchi: Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh advocated the need to adopt the Prime Minister’s concept of Karmayogi rather than being an employee. Addressing a workshop organized by Personnel Department in collaboration with Capacity Building Commission in Project Building he said that capacity building of officers in administrative service is necessary so that maximum output can be obtained.

He said that under Mission Karmayogi, the focus is on making the employees Karmayogi for this they will be given special training by the Capacity Building Commission which will improve the working style and system of officers and employees. In the workshop, R Balasubramaniam, Member of Capacity Building Commission, explained in detail about Mission Karmayogi through a presentation.

He was informed about its functioning, training, and training center. He said that through Mission Karmayogi, the employees would be able to improve their performance and enhance their potential. Indian Civil Service officers will be prepared for the future and they will be groomed in such a way that they can work in a constructive, professional, progressive and transparent manner.

Capacity Building Commission has been constituted for the development of the employees he said adding that with this, efforts will be made to improve the standard of training. Moreover through this skill development of government officials and employees will be done.

Under the Mission Karmayogi scheme, special training will be given to the employees and for this, necessary content will be provided to them he informed In the workshop Principal Secretary of Personnel Department Vandana Dadel, Principal Secretary Himani Pandey, Principal Secretary Aradhana Patnaik, Principal Secretary KK Soan, Secretary Sunil Kumar, Secretary Manoj Kumar, Secretary Manish Ranjan, Secretary K Ravi Kumar , Secretary Prashant Kumar, MNREGA Commissioner Rajeshwari B, Secretaries of various departments, Joint Secretaries Joint Secretary of Personnel Department Mr Ranjit Kumar Lal and other officers and employees were present.
