Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said the state government is working to provide a better future to the youth of the state. Addressing the assistant policemen he said that to improve the law and order situation they had been brought into the system and their appointment was for a certain period of time.
He said that as per the service rules their service is now coming to an end and in such circumstances, they are bound to be worried about their future however by extending their service by a period of one year the state government has tried to provide immediate relief to them.
The Chief Minister said that in the future the option of service extension should not be explored and what can be better done for them the government was seriously thinking on the issue and assured the assistant policemen that they will have a bright future. He said that thousands of contractual employees and other staff who have been appointed for a limited period of time have been working in the state and the government is worried about all of them and is constantly thinking as to how their service can be improved and their future can be made better and in this regard, the officials have been asked to give suggestions regarding their service rules so that a concrete decision may be taken.
The Chief Minister said that every youth hopes to get a job and the state government was serious over their bright future he said adding that steps are being taken to link them with jobs and the government is working forward to ensure a great future for the youth of the state.
