Ranchi: The weather department has predicted for Pre Monsoon activity to take place in the state over the course of the next two days during which wind speed of 30-40 kilometers is likely to blow in the state.
Scientists at the local weather Station said that due to the east East-West Turfline for the next two days wind and pre-monsoon rain coupled with lightning has been predicted. Along with that due to the north-south turf line a low-pressure cyclonic area is being formed in Madhya Pradesh which is extending up to Tamilnadu.
On the other due to the east-west turfline a cyclonic system has been spread over the Gangetic plains to Jharkhand whose impact will reduce after two days. The cyclonic storm moving from the Arabian Sea to Gujarat is also likely to have its impact in the state.
In the last 24 hours almost all the districts have received light to medium range of rainfall with Rajmahal in Sahebganj recording a maximum rainfall of 60 mm followed by 55 mm in Koderma, Godda 36.8 mm and Tenughat 27.8 mm.
During this period Chaibasa was the hottest at 37.2 degrees while Bokaro was the coolest at 18.1 degrees.
