Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the previous governments made work plans only on paper but his government has done the work of putting the plans on the ground along with the paper.
Addressing a function here the Chief Minister said that under the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ and ‘Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar- Aapke Dwar’ programs his government has done the work of connecting people with various schemes by visiting panchayats in every village.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is working fast in the development works of water, electricity, roads and other infrastructure. Now even at night, there is light in remote areas through electricity he said adding that the problems related to electricity have been resolved in the state.
Ever since the formation of his government efforts have been intensified to strengthen the basic route he said adding that the pace at which his government is increasing the dimension of development and the works continue at this pace then the day is not far when every Jharkhand resident will feel proud.
The Chief Minister said that his government has also done many remarkable works in LWE-affected areas. Earlier the people of Budha Pahar could not see the city and the people of the city could not show the courage to go to Budha Pahar but his government has done the work of changing that situation.
He said that it was only a few days after the formation of the present government that the global pandemic Coronavirus engulfed the country and the world. He pointed that his government was not even established properly and had to struggle to survive as well as to save lives but yet his government did many things for the benefit of the people of the state with a lot of patience and sensitivity.
The working class who had gone from Jharkhand to different states of the country for self-employment, the state government made them return home safely he said. Hemant Soren said Jharkhand was the first state in the country which took a historic initiative for the safe return of its working class and work was done to bring the labourers back to Jharkhand from every corner of the country by various means including bus, train and air.
The Chief Minister said that during the global pandemic, his government has also worked to open many doors of livelihood for the poor, farmers, labourers and needy people here as many self-employment schemes were implemented.
The Chief Minister said that after getting rid of the global pandemic his government made constant efforts to speed up the pace of development in the state. Jharkhand is a state surrounded by rural areas and there are many challenges along with poverty, and unemployment, on which special work needs to be done he said adding that his government has done the work of giving the Sarvajan Pension Scheme and Old Pension Scheme to government employees in the state.
The elderly people in the state, who are at the last stage of their age, today are feeling safe in themselves as the government also worried about the future of government employees and linked them to the old pension scheme.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister spoke frankly on many important issues and apprised the people present there about the future plans of the state government. Ministers Mithilesh Thakur and Satyanand Bhokta, Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji, MLAs Sarfaraz Ahmed Deepika Pandey Singh, Binod Singh, Anup Singh, Dinesh William Marandi, Shilpi Neha Tirkey and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
