Rain and thunderstorm alert in isolated areas of Jharkhand

Ranchi: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre has issued an alert of thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by rain with strong surface wind gusting up to 40-50 Kmph at isolated places over Jharkhand. A similar forecast of thunderstorm/ lightning accompanied by strong surface wind gusting up to 30-40 Kmph was issued for the next three days till March 21. Met officials in Ranchi said weather conditions are expected to improve from March 22. The weather station said that it is expecting clear and dry weather conditions in most parts of the state from March 22.
