Voter registration Programme held in Leprosy Colony

Ranchi:  On the instructions of Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar, senior officials of the Chief Electoral Office along with the election team of Ranchi district went door-to-door in Indira Leprosy Colony located in Jagannathpur to know the physical status of voter registration of members of leprosy patient families.

During this time, officials went door-to-door to find out whether any eligible voter was being left out. Chief Electoral Office officials Geeta Choubey, Devdas Dutta and Sanjay Kumar reviewed the work being done by BLO, Supervisor and AERO. Also took information about and gave necessary instructions.

During this time, Voter Helpline App was also installed on the spot to some young voters. Officials said that several special campaigns will be run from November 28 to December 3 for the voters of various marginal sections of the society like primitive tribes, disabled people, shelterless, elderly voters etc.

During this intensive campaign, the Deputy Commissioner and other senior officials of all the districts including the Chief Electoral Officer will also participate in this campaign at their respective levels.

During this local tour, Deputy Election Officer of Ranchi District Vivek Kumar Suman, Supervisor Anil Kumar, BLO Divya Ekka, Ravi Kumar Bhagat, Tribhuvan Kumar Singh, Murali Goswami, Nirmala Thakur, Uma Mandal, Radheshyam Pramanik, Chanchala Das, A large number of local people including Sakina Devi, Priya Kumari Thakur, Riya Kumari were present.
