Ranchi – In the light of the instructions of the Election Commission of India Voter List Special Brief Revision 2023 Program Starting from Wednesday.
Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar informed the media that five standards have been set by the Election Commission of India for the revision of the voter list. These five standards are accuracy, inclusiveness, transparency, participation and technical competence.
He also told that during the revision period what facilities can common citizens get, in which citizens eligible to become voters can apply in advance on the qualifying dates of 01.01.2023, 01.04.23, 01.07.23, 01.10.2023. He asked the eligible people to Include their names in the voter list and to fill Form-6, with just one color photograph and proof of age and residence.
In the same way, if the name is to be deleted from the voter list, then Form-7 and correction of entries in the voter list, such as EPIC replacement, identification of disability, and transfer of residence inside or outside the assembly, can be applied in Form-8.
He said that a special period has been fixed for submitting any kind of claim and objection, in which the date is fixed from 09.11.2022 to 08.12.20220 in which people can apply for all types of BLO/ Can be submitted in the office of AERO/ERO and they said that all the forms are free of cost.
