Vishwas Rally: JP Nadda says BJP has always taken care of tribals

Ranchi: BJP’s National President JP Nadda, while addressing the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Vishwas rally organized at Morhabadi Maidan in Ranchi, said that only BJP has taken care of the tribal society and no one else has taken care of this society in 70 years.

He said that the tribal society has made sacrifices therefore villages of martyrs who sacrificed their lives will be made ideal villages. Targeting the Jharkhand government he said that women are not safe in the state and Naxal incidents have increased. He alleged that the people sitting in the government have taken the mine lease in their names and their closed ones. He urged the people that in order to make all of them they should be voting for the BJP for change.

JP Nadda said that the Narendra Modi government at the Center has taken care of every section, women have been given toilet facilities, pucca houses have been given and this is a picture of a changing India. He claimed that under the present government LWE incidents have increased in Jharkhand and the law and order situation had declined but the police are mute spectators. He said that the state government was also troubled by the raid of the ED at the residence of an IAS officer.

Union Minister Arjun Munda said in the Vishwas rally that many immortal martyrs including Dharti Aaba Birsa Munda, Nilamber-Pitamber, Sido-Kanho of Jharkhand made their sacrifices, but their dreams are still not fulfilled and for this reason, it has been decided to celebrate the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda as Tribal Pride Day. He said that the journey of development started in 2014 and this is the period of self-respect of the tribals.

Leader of BJP Legislature Party, Babulal Marandi said that tribal society resides in the hearts of the BJP as the tribal society fought for the Jharkhand state. He said that it was the BJP that fulfilled the demand of the state for years and created Jharkhand and fulfilled the dreams of the people.

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that no one has worried about the tribal society, but BJP has always taken care of them. The double engine government constituted the Tribal Commission, but the present government did not even start it smoothly he said adding that these days large-scale conversions are being done in the state. He said that the state government has never worried about the tribal society. He demanded immediate implementation of the PESA Act.

On this occasion, Jharkhand BJP President Deepak Prakash, while giving a welcome address, said that the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government had made Jharkhand and the Narendra Modi government has done the work of grooming the state. National President of Scheduled Tribes Morcha Samir Oraon conducted the stage. Senior BJP leaders and Padma Bhushan Kadiya Munda and others were present on this occasion.
