Ranchi: Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal said that villages and farmers are the centre of all the works of the state government and all efforts of Chief Minister Raghubar Das are aimed at the upliftment of the villages and the farmers.
Mr Barnwal made these comments while talking to the villagers in Nawagarh Panchayat of Angara block after taking stock of the progress in the execution of various scheme of the different departments and doing labour along with the locals during which Ranchi DC Rai Mahimpet Rey was also present.
Under Mnrega for mango farming plants of the mango tree were put up while construction for 500 metre of a pipeline through minor irrigation works enabling biofarming also commenced. Approval letters for construction of PMAY Gramin to 50 beneficiaries were given while under JSLPS and Johar Yojana goats and ducks were distributed among the people.
By the agriculture department seeds for maize and pulses was distributed among the farmers while for dairy development to 9 farmers approval letters for cows were also given away.
On the occasion Executive Engineer drinking water and sanitation division Executive Engineer minor irrigation and other officials were present.
