Vigilance Awareness Week started in CCL, organization of ‘Oath of Integrity’ and ‘Vigilance Awareness March’

Ranchi: Under Vigilance Awareness Week 2023, “Vigilance Awareness March” was organized from CCL Headquarters, Darbhanga House, and Ranchi to Jawahar Nagar Colony, Kanke Road.

On this occasion, CMD of CCL Dr. B. Veera Reddy, Director Technical (Operations) Shri Ram Babu Prasad, Director Personnel Harsh Nath Mishra, Director Technical Planning and Project B. Sai Ram, Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar along with a large number of CCL employees participated in this awareness march displaying the message of ‘Oppose Corruption, Be Dedicated to the Nation’.

On this occasion, carrying vigilance awareness chariot along with play cards, banners in their hands, giving the message of ‘oppose corruption, be dedicated to the nation’, from the main gate of CCL to the main gate of Raj Bhawan, Jawahar Nagar on Kanke Road. Vigil march taken out till the colony. School students also participated with the band. 

Earlier, CCL CMD, directors and employees were present in the headquarters premises in the morning and took the oath of allegiance. CMD Dr. B. Veera Reddy administered the ‘oath’ of integrity to everyone. He made the employees pledge to work in the public interest with honesty, adherence to rules and transparency in the workplace.

On this occasion, Dr. Reddy said that corruption is a major obstacle in the economic, political and social progress of our country, we all have to work together to eradicate it. In the welcome address, CVO Shri Pankaj Kumar talked about adopting integrity and honesty in life. He inspired everyone to create a corruption-free society.

On the special occasion, CMD, Dr. Reddy including the Directors and CVO flagged off the Vigilance Awareness Rath. This awareness chariot will go among the common people and make them aware along with spreading the message of being free from corruption. Arrangements for ‘e-pledge’ were made in the CCL headquarters premises, in which the employees also took the e-oath. This year’s theme is ‘Oppose Corruption, Be Dedicated to the Nation’.

This year Vigilance Awareness Week is being celebrated across CCL from 30th October to 05th November 2023. During this period, CCL is vigorously spreading the message of anti-corruption in society through street plays, cultural programs and rallies.
