Ranchi : Vande Bharat Express train will run on Ranchi-Howrah route. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given this information to Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth. On Friday, the MP met the Railway Minister in New Delhi.
During this meeting, the MP urged for expansion of rail facilities in Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency, operation of new trains and increase in frequency of many trains. Also discussed on Ranchi Howrah Vande Bharat Express.
The Railway Minister told the MP that preparations for this have been completed and very soon Vande Bharat Express will start operating between Ranchi and Howrah. Sanjay Seth urged to operate Vande Bharat train between Ranchi and Banaras as well. He said to the Union Minister that Banaras is the cultural capital of the country and also a big commercial centre. Thousands of people commute daily from Jharkhand to Banaras, but many times people face problems due to lack of train service.
The operation of Vande Bharat Express will also strengthen the relations between Ranchi and Banaras. Both the cities will be benefited from the commercial point of view as well. Apart from this, MP Sanjay Seth also requested the Union Railway Minister to increase the frequency of weekly and various trains running for the last 10 years.
The MP said to the Railway Minister that there are many trains that go from Ranchi to cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, Ernakulam, Vellore, Pune, and Mumbai. These trains have been operating for more than 10 years. In these 10 years, the population has also increased and people’s travel has also increased. In such a situation, it is necessary that the frequency of these trains should be increased so that the travel of people can be made more convenient.
Train numbers 12835/12836 and 18637/18638 from Hatia Railway Station to Hatia Bengaluru, Train No. 12812/12811 from Hatia to Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminal, Train No. 18609/18610 from Ranchi to Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminal, Train No. 22 from Hatia to Pune 846/22845, Dharti Aaba Express train number 22837/22838 are included.
