Ranchi: In a piece of good news for the travellers commuting on the Ranchi and Howrah stretch they are likely to get a Vande Bharat Express on the route which will be operated by the Ranchi rail division from Jharkhand capital to Howrah in West Bengal.
However, the dates of the start of this service have not been started as it is for the Railway Board to decide from which date the train would be made operational. A Railway official said that the Ranchi rail division has completed all the preparations for running the Vande Bharat Express.
The Vande Bharat Express train which has been developed in the country will be operating at a speed of 150 km per hour due to which the distance between Ranchi and Howrah will be completed in less time.
The distance between Ranchi and Howrah is 419 km which will be completed by the Vande Bharat Express in just 4.55 hours.
As far as the facilities are concerned travelers on the train will have access to all modern facilities including below-the-seat charging points Wi-Fi system GPS enabled information system vacuum toilets etc.
