Ranchi: The Ghaziabad gang that was running away after stealing jewellery worth Rs 43 lakh from a flat in Doranda, Ranchi was arrested by the UP Police from Moradabad. According to Sources, during vehicle checking in Pakbada police station area, police searched a car and jewellery worth about Rs 43 lakh was recovered from the car. These include gold jewellery worth Rs 42 lakh (600 grams), one kg silver jewellery worth Rs 80 thousand and cash worth Rs 35 thousand 380. After which the police arrested all three.
These include Nadeem, a resident of Kailabhatta of Ghaziabad Kotwali area, Javed, resident of Garima Garden of Sahibabad police station area of Ghaziabad and Tahir alias Tahoor alias Tomar, resident of Pasunda of Sahibabad police station area.
During interrogation, the members of the inter-state gang revealed that they had committed theft in the flat of Saraswati Vela Society located in Doranda police station area of Ranchi on November 29. He said that he travels around the cities of other states by car and does Reiki. Seeing empty houses and flats, they plan to commit the crime. He said that he has committed such incidents in many cities of Ghaziabad and Delhi also.
Apart from this, theft has also been committed in Kolkata, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Adityapur of Jharkhand.
