Ranchi: AJSU Student Union has locked the gate of the administrative building of Ranchi University. They were demanding the implementation of two UGC rules in PhD. Last Friday, the members of the student union had also given an application to the Vice Chancellor of Ranchi University, Ajit Kumar Singh.
The Vice-Chancellor had talked about holding talks on Tuesday. But when they reached the office the VC was not present there. In such a situation, the members of the AJSU Student Union got angry and locked the gate of the administrative building.
However, after some time Ajit Kumar Singh reached the university and got the lock opened. After this, he called the agitating students inside for talks.
