Unlock in Jharkhand: Educational Institutions to open in 17 districts

Ranchi: The process of Unlock has once again started in Jharkhand as after seeing the decline in number of daily Coronavirus cases the state government on Monday night announced some relaxations.

Briefing the press after the meeting of state disaster management department Health Minister Banna Gupta said that it has been decided to open educational institutions above class 1 in 17 districts of the state while in remaining 7 districts classes from standard 9th and above in educational institutions will be opened.

The seven districts where educational institutions above class 9th will be opened included Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Bokaro, Chatra, Deoghar, Saraikela and Simdega. The state government has given the option of offline and online mode of teaching to the educational institutions.

Further it has been decided that the coaching institutes will be opened. Stadiums will be opened but without spectators, apart from that zoo, parks, gyms, playgrounds, clubs, cinema halls will also open in the state.

Banna Gupta said that however as per the previous arrangements shops and markets will shut down at 8:00 pm while in wedding ceremonies presence of 200 people has been allowed
