Congress and JMM slam Union Budget 2022-23

Ranchi: The ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and its ally the Congress party have described as the Union Budget as Bogus Budget which has nothing to do with the welfare of the common people.

JPCC Chief Rajesh Thakur said that the centre is doing business. He said that as per the Union Finance Minister the Budget is a reflection of the next 25 years which means for ‘Acche Din’ people will have to wait for 2047. He said that the Budget was not for the common people but rather for the elite. Thakur said in wake of the elections in five states and for again misleading the unemployed, farmers and poor the budget has been prepared but the public knows everything and is aware of the intentions of the government.

Senior JMM leader and member of the central committee said that the budget is targeted at the well being of the corporate sector while for the middle class and poor it is only a coloured spectacle. He said that the centre has decided to put up the railways on a grand sale before four big corporate houses of the country and now the railways and its valuable assets will be sold at throwaway prices.

He said that as far as the youth is considered for them again misleading and hoax dreams have been shown in the budget. Bhattacharya alleged that going by the budget it appears that injustice to state like Jharkhand has become a constitutional provision. He said that for the Assembly elections in five states dreams have been sent in empty envelopes.
