Ranchi: The meeting of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee ‘Disha’ was held at the ATI Auditorium under the chairmanship of the Union Minister-cum-Chairman Arjun Munda during which the implementation of various schemes going on in the district was discussed.
Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, Lohardaga MP Sudarshan Bhagat, Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash, Ranchi MLA CP Singh, Silli MLA Sudesh Mahto, Mandar MLA Bandhu Tirkey, Hatia MLA Naveen Jaiswal, Kanke MLA Samrilal, Ranchi Mayor Asha Lakra, Deputy Commissioner Ranchi, Chhavi Ranjan, Deputy Development Commissioner Vishal Sagar and other heads of all departments were present. In the meeting, the Minister detailed the members about the purpose of Disha and the three-tier system. While discussing the implementation of various ongoing schemes in the district, the Minister said that in the next meeting the progress of various schemes through PPT should be informed so that gap analysis can be done over whatever is necessary in different areas.
Arjun Munda said that basically successful implementation of schemes can be done only after working with better coordination between various departments.
In the meeting, information about the development works being done in Ranchi district under various schemes was given by the Deputy Commissioner Ranch and Deputy Development Commissioner. After collecting information about Mnrega, various housing schemes, Swachh Bharat Mission, Jal Jeevan Mission, Food Security Scheme Chairman of the committee Arjun Munda said that more attention is needed for better implementation of schemes and advocated for real monitoring system and real time data management is required. He said that before the next meeting of Disha, the pending cases of housing schemes should be completed.
After the meeting of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha), Arjun Munda said that this is the beginning as discussions will be held continuously to take the development plans on the ground as the focus is on moving forward through the schemes. He said that efforts will continue to move forward through schemes, programmes, and sensitive administrative system.
Taking information about the vaccination work in the district, the chairman of the committee, he said that the officers should visit the vaccination centers regularly. He said that a big campaign is going on in the whole country against Corona and it will be successful only with the participation of everyone.
While directing to continue the awareness work on a wide scale regarding vaccination, Arjun Munda said that special care should be taken so that the doses of vaccine are not wasted. On this, the Deputy Development Commissioner said that continuous monitoring is being done to ensure that the doses of the vaccine are not wasted. Information was also taken from the officials regarding various schemes by MPs and MLAs present in the meeting. Necessary directions were given to the officials by the public representatives for the speedy and effective implementation of the schemes. In the meeting, it was also directed to give written reports related to the suggestions of the members and the works of their area.
