Ranchi, Dec 21: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that tourism has tremendous opportunities in the state as there were many world famous religious spots here which are being developed in the state.
Chairing a meeting to review the development plan of Rajrappa here said that Rajrappa was a Shakti Peeth where devotees from across the world come and the state government was committed to provide world class amenities to the worshipers. He said that Rajrappa would be developed on the likes of Maa Vaishno Devi Temple.
Mr Das said that increase in tourism would not only be beneficial for the state but would also provide employment for the people. He asked the officials to make sure that Rajrappa was developed as per the schedule. He said that officials need to work on all the issues so that time can be completed on time and directed the officials to commence work soon so that the work is completed before the rain season.
Mr Das said that when the victors arrive at Rajrappa they should get better facilities. He said that apart from that Anjan Dham, Chandil Dam, Itkhori would also be developed. He said that the state government wanted to develop the state as a tourism hub and work was also on to develop Baba Baidynanth Dham in Deoghar and Baba Basukinath Dham located in Dumka district.
