Khadi Mela: Business worth Rs 6 crore recorded so far: Seth

Ranchi, Dec 28: Jharkhand Khadi Board president Sanjay Seth said that
people are on a shopping sphere in the ongoing Khadi Mela due to which
the business has so far reached Rs 6 crore.

He said that the stock of Amruta Honey which was launched by the Chief
Minister during the event has already finished. He said that several
cabinet ministers including Ramchandra Chandravanshi, Raj Paliwar and
Randhir Singh participated in the mela while Lohardaga MLA Sukhdeo
Bhagat was also among the visitors.

He said that development commissioner Amit Khare, Principal Secretary
Personnel Department Nidhi Khare, Secretaries Rahul Sharma and Himai
Pandey also visited the fair. Mr Seth said that during the day
performances were made by artisan of Odisha who got a thums up from
the people for their Sambhalpuri dance.
