Tight security at airport, railway station amid India-Pakistan tension

Ranchi: In light of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, security has been significantly tightened across key locations in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Special vigilance is being maintained at both the Ranchi airport and the railway station to prevent any potential threats and ensure public safety.

At the airport, teams from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) are conducting thorough checks using sniffer dogs to inspect passengers’ luggage. Strict screening is also being carried out at the entry gates to monitor the flow of passengers and detect any suspicious activity. Similar high-alert measures are in place at Ranchi railway station, where surveillance has been intensified.

Ranchi airport, which sees an average of 25 to 27 flights per day to various destinations, is maintaining a heightened state of alert. The airport provides direct connectivity to major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Patna, and Pune. Security personnel are keeping a close watch on even the smallest of movements within the airport premises, as authorities remain on guard to respond to any emergency situations.
