Ranchi: Voting for the second phase of three-tier panchayat elections will be held on Thursday for which tight security arrangements have been made in Jharkhand regarding this. Along with the central forces, Jharkhand Police is also on full alert mode. The Police Headquarters is keeping a special watch in all the 16 districts where the second phase of polling is to be held.
Tight security arrangements have been made for the Panchayat elections. Special care is being taken especially in very sensitive areas. Aerial surveillance is also being done in the Naxal-affected areas during the polling.
Bomb disposal squads have also been deployed in the Naxal-affected areas to ensure that the polling is conducted peacefully. Special vigil is being taken by sealing the borders of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha and Chhattisgarh bordering Jharkhand.
