Ranchi: A tragic road accident occurred in Palamu district, resulting in the death of three tribal youths. The incident took place near the Rudwa Baidahi Mor on NH 98 in the Chhatarpur police station area. It is reported that one of the youths was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Shyam Parhiya and Santan Parhiya died on the spot, while the third youth, Upendra Parhiya, succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The three youths were residents of Lewad village in the Khajuri Naudiha Panchayat of Chhatarpur. According to reports, they were traveling from Medininagar towards Chhatarpur when a Bolero vehicle coming from the opposite direction collided with their motorcycle. The impact of the collision was so severe that the motorcycle was badly damaged. After the accident, the driver of the Bolero fled the scene.
Locals stated that both vehicles were speeding at the time of the incident. With the help of villagers, the injured were quickly taken to the Chhatarpur Sub-Divisional Hospital. The Chhatarpur police reached the scene and seized the Bolero. They are now working to trace the owner of the vehicle.
