Ramgarh: Police has arrested three ultras belonging to the People’s Liberation Front of India from Patratu Police Station area of this district.
Briefing the press on Tuesday Ramgarh SP Prabhat Kumar said that the arrested had given threats to the security staff of CMPDI for levy. The arrested have been identified as Rajan Kumar Singh, Sunil Sao and Nawal Kumar Ganjhu.
From the arrested two mobile phones and 10 pamphlets of the PLFI have been recovered.
The SP said that on August 10 dozens of ultra belonging to the outfit had stopped the work being executed by the company in Barwa Tola of Sankul village and had thrown pamphlets in the name of PLFI supremo Dinesh Gope and area commander Toofan alias Sultan.
The SP said that Rajan Kumar was first called for interrogation who spilled the beans and led to the arrest of others.
