Thousands of devotes offered paryer at Pahari temple on second Somvari

Ranchi:  On the second Monday in Ranchi, Shiva devotees were delighted with the blowing devotional wind.

There was a flood of faith to convince Bhole Baba.

There was a steady flow of devotees in the temples from early morning till late evening.

Drizzling rain, sometimes sunshine, sometimes shade, considering the changing weather patterns every moment as God’s blessings, a large number of devotees prayed for the desired results by doing Jalabhishek and worship of Mahadev.

Hill temple and Sureshwar Dham, Chutiya and Angada Bari, Khuntu had their own attractions.

More than one lakh Kanwariyas and devotees, both local and from outside, offered water here.

However, due to the establishment of many new temples in the streets, the crowd got divided.

Unlike previous years, this time there was no crowd of devotees in the hill temple.

More crowds gathered at Sureshwar Dham than in previous years.

Here on the occasion of the second Monday, there was a long queue till 1 o’clock in the day.

According to temple committee chairman Suresh Sahu, more than 25 thousand devotees offered water to Sureshwar Mahadev from 3 am to noon.

A large number of devotees also participated in the evening Shringar-Aarti.

In view of the crowd of Kanwariyas, the doors of the hill temple were opened only at 2.30 in the night.

Priests Pintu and Manikant Pandey conducted the official puja.

In this, his wife DC Rahul Sinha, SDM Utkarsh Kumar, former Home Secretary NN Pandey, Manish Ranjan, Pahari Mandir’s Rajesh Kumar Sahu Raju and Badal Singh specially participated.

The devotees performed the Aarti by decorating Pahari Baba with evening flowers. Offered fifty-six offerings.

The doors of the temple closed at 9.30 pm with darshan, worship and distribution of Prasad.

Aarti was performed with grand evening decoration in other Shiva temples of the city also.

Special offering was offered to Bhole Baba.

Due to tight arrangements, despite the crowd of thousands in the temple, the system remained completely under control, everyone had darshan of Baba peacefully.

At the same time, service camps were organized by social and religious organizations and Shambhu devotees were given every kind of support.

Milk, fruits and flowers etc. were distributed.

Hindu Jagran Manch, Lions Club etc. set up camps in the hill temple and were dedicated to serving the devotees.
