Thousands of devotees will offer Jalabhishek at Pahari temple on the first Monday

Ranchi: All administrative preparations have been completed in the capital Ranchi for the first Monday. Thousands of devotees filling water from the Swarnarekha River at Namkum will leave for Pahadi Baba temple with at 12 o’clock tonight. These devotees will offer water to Pahadi Baba early in the morning. 

Various arrangements have been made by the district administration regarding the first Monday. Changes have been made in the traffic route around the hill temple. Similarly, more than two thousand police forces have been deployed.

The traffic route of the roads around the hill temple has been changed for Monday. Routes of heavy vehicles have been diverted from Harmu Road and Ratu Road since 12 o’clock on Sunday night. One end of Harmu Road, while in Ratu Road, there will be one side roadblock from Meenakshi Cinema road to Ratu Road. This situation will remain till the end of the rush on Monday. The traffic police has made extensive preparations for this.

CCTV cameras are also being used to keep vigil on big temples. The SSP said about 500 additional jawans have been deployed in the entire capital. DSP-level officers will monitor the security system from Monday morning itself. The police station and bike patrolling squad of the area will patrol regularly.
