Ranchi: On the first Monday of Sawan, thousands of Kanwariyas reached Deoghar. Especially in the afternoon, more crowd was seen at the time of Patliputra Express. A helpline counter has been opened at the Jasidih junction for the convenience of Kanwariyas. Along with this, seven special trains are being operated.
Virender Kumar, CPRO of East Central Railway, said a two-minute stoppage has been given to many Mail-Express trains at Jasidih station and Sultanganj. Shravani Mela special train is being operated between Patna-Asansol, Gaya-Jasidih, Raxaul-Bhagalpur and Gorakhpur-Deoghar. Along with this, a 2-minute stoppage of five trains has been given at Sultanganj station.
Except 12305/06 Kolkata Rajdhani Express, 12273/74 Duronto Express, 12023/24 Jan Shatabdi Express, 12303/04 Poorva Express, 12359/60 Garib Rath Express, 12235/36 Humsafar Express, all mail/express/passenger trains will stop at Jasidih station. In Sawan, food will be served without onion and garlic on demand in the food plazas of all IRCTC-authorized units and stations. Along with this, there will be fruits for the devotees of Shiva who eat fruits.
Passengers who will stay in the train can also order food without onion garlic at their seats through an e-catering service.
