Thirty three personnel of Jharkhand Police to get bravery awards on Independence Day

Ranchi: On the occasion of Independence Day 33 personnel of Jharkhand Police will be conferred with bravery award.

An announcement in this regard has been made by the state police headquarters. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will give away the awards to the Policemen on Independence Day function which will be held at the Morhabadi Grounds.

All the policemen who have been selected for the award they have been directed to report before Ranchi SSP as before the Independence day function on August 15 they would be made to participate in the full dress rehearsal programme slated on August 13.

Those who have been selected for the bravery award included ASI Awadesh Kumar Jha (Chatra), Havaildar Om Prakash Chourasia (Chatra, Posthumously), Sepoy Anuj Kumar Singh, Sepoy Jai Prakash Singh, Sepoy Sachindra Kumar and Driver Sepoy Madan Prasad Yadav (all from Chatra), ASP Operations Arun Kumar Singh (Palamu), Sepoy Ranjeet Kumar, Sepoy Balram Das ( Palamu), DSP cum assault group commander Dharmendra Kumar Singh (Jharkhand Jaguar), SDPO Om Prakash Tiwari (Latehar), SI Alok Kumar Dubey (Latehar), Sepoy Pramod Yadav (Latehar), Havaildar Manoj Kumar (Jharkhand Jaguar), DSP cum assault group commander Brajesh Kumar Yadav (Jharkhand Jaguar).

SI John Murmu (Simdega), SI Bihari Marandi (Jharkhand Jaguar), Sepoy Ritul Kumar, Sepoy Rinku Kumar Yadav, Sepoy Jivan Kispotta, Sepoy Gun Bahadur Thapa (all from Jharkhand Jaguar), Inspector Arun Kumar (Jharkhand Jaguar), SI Sanoj Chowdhary (Latehar), ASI Abhishek Kumar (Jharkhand Jaguar).

Sepoy Manish Rajwar, Sepoy Anoj Kumar Ojha, Sepoy Naresh Tigga (all from Latehar), Sepoy Inderjeet Tiwari, Sepoy Shyam Nand Prasad Gupta, Sepoy Chotu Yadav, Sepoy Mithun Kumar Ravi and Sepoy Manoj Kumar Bauri (all from Jharkhand Jaguar).
