Ranchi: Along with the political earthquake in Jharkhand, there has also been a stir in the state bureaucracy. With the ED team knocking at the CM’s Delhi residence on Monday, a period of speculation has started in the politics of the state. Bureaucracy was also not untouched by this.

Chief Secretary L Khyangte called an emergency meeting at 12 noon on Monday, in which he directed to keep a close watch on the security arrangements in the state. SPs of all the districts have been asked to be on high alert, while the administrative department of Jharkhand is also on full alert mode.

ED had issued 10th summons to CM Hemant and asked him to give time between 29th to 31st January till 28th January. But no reply was given by the CM. Meanwhile, the CM traveled to Delhi late in the evening of 27 January.

There is a situation of confusion in Project Bhawan and Nepal House also. Heads of departments of many departments are also keeping a close watch on the situation. Many are also getting information from their own sources from moment to moment.

File movement in departments has also slowed down. Heads of many departments kept an eye on the news coming in the media. At the same time, officers close to the CM also remained busy watching every moment’s updates on their mobile phones.
