The government will provide full support to the youth in whatever field they want to progress: CM

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday said that the state govt would help the students, in whatever field they want to progress. “Be it the field of agriculture, animal husbandry, players or workers. Whether you want employment or self-employment, the government will provide you full help” said Chief Minister Hemant Soren while addressing the annual convocation-2023 of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Education and Research Institute, Morhabadi, Ranchi.

While presenting gold medals and degrees to the students, he expressed hope that every youth coming out from here will create a distinct identity for himself and will contribute in building a strong society by following the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.

The Chief Minister said that the arrangements already in place in the state will continue. But, parallel to that, we are preparing such an excellent and strong system which in future will automatically replace the earlier system. This new system will work to strengthen the foundation of the state.

The Chief Minister said that just as strengthening the rural economy is the priority of our government, similarly Ramakrishna Mission is also working in the same areas which are marginalized in today’s materialistic era. In such a situation, this organization should guide the government. He also said that agriculture and animal husbandry used to be the backbone of our economy, but today mines and factories are visible in place of fields.

In such a situation, completely ignoring the traditional system in the blind race of development is not a good sign for a state like Jharkhand. This is the reason why our government is strengthening the rural economy. If villages become strong then the state and the country will also become strong.

The Chief Minister said that if many schemes of the government fail, then we too are responsible for it. If we see, cleanliness campaigns have been going on in the entire country for years, but even today many people throw the filth of their houses on the streets. Action plans have been made for cleaning the rivers.

Crores and billions of rupees have also been spent. But today the rivers do not appear to be as clean as they should be. This carelessness of ours will somehow become a cause of danger to the entire state and country. In such a situation, we need to work with full dedication and service spirit.

The Chief Minister said that the government has special attention on the weak people in the society. All steps are being taken to take them forward. The government is bearing the expenses of education of economically and socially weaker children. In this series, young men and women of primitive tribes are being given free residential coaching for the preparation of competitive examinations.

From preparation for competitive exams to courses like medical engineering and law, the government is also providing financial assistance for higher education abroad. To ensure that girls are not deprived of education, they are being linked to Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana.
